FIIA To Go Ahead With Fall Conference

NU Online News Service, Sept. 27, 1:23 p.m. – The Financial Institutions Insurance Association, Corte Madera, Calif., will hold its fall conference in San Francisco next week as scheduled, the association announced, despite the recent terrorism.

FIAA chairman Richard D. Starr says that, after conferring with members about the best course of action following Sept. 11′s terrorist attacks on the U.S., the group’s board concluded that it would be “in the best interests of the industry and our members to conduct the meeting as scheduled.”
