Prudential Hires Former Lincoln Investment Chief

NU Online News Service, Sept. 26, 3:35 p.m. – Prudential Investment Management, a unit of Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, N.J., has hired Thomas McMeekin, to sell investment management services to other insurance companies.

McMeekin has been a managing partner at Griffin Investments L.L.C.

Earlier, he was chief investment officer at Lincoln National Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind. McMeekin has also served on the investment committee at the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington, He was chairman of the committee from 1999 to 2000.

McMeekin has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University.
