NU Online News Service, Sept. 7, 11:03 a.m. – Hartford Life Insurance Company, Simsbury, Conn., is adding electronic billing to its Web site for employers who are clients of its group benefit plans.
The company says it is testing e-billing in select markets and will soon make it available to all of its group life and group disability insurance customers.
By streamlining the billing process, e-billing can increase customer efficiencies and reduce their costs by enabling them to view a current invoice and to input, confirm and revise data online, the company says. Upon confirmation, customers can view and print an updated invoice.
