Web Benefits Wholesaler Hires Sales Vice President

NU Online News Service, Aug. 21, 2:56 p.m. – IBSi, Lancaster, Pa., a Web-based benefits wholesaler, has hired Kathleen Dougherty as vice president of e-marketing.

Dougherty will lead the sales and contact center teams, and oversee improvements in the broker support network.

Dougherty previously served as vice president of call center operations and planning in the Somerset, N.J., offices of Merrill Lynch & Company Inc.

IBSi is a subsidiary of Educators Mutual Life Insurance Company. It uses its Web site, at http://www.ibsibrokers.com, to market group life, disability, dental and health insurance to brokers.
