NU Online News Service, July 27, 3:03 p.m. – AmerUs Life Insurance Company, Des Moines, Iowa, and its affiliated companies have had their financial strength ratings upgraded to ‘A3′ from ‘Baa1′ by Moody’s Investors Service, New York.

Affiliated companies include: American Investors Life Insurance Company (American Investors), Delta Life Insurance Company, and Indianapolis Life Insurance Company (Indianapolis Life).
