Guardian Puts Goldman In Charge Of Stock Funds

NU Online News Service, July 25, 1:55 p.m. – The Guardian Life Insurance Company, New York, has hired Richard Goldman to serve as a managing director in its investment department.

Goldman will run The Guardian Park Avenue Fund and other common stock portfolios with a total value of $6 billion.

Goldman previously was a senior portfolio manager in the asset management unit at Citigroup Inc., New York. He led teams that managed investments in large U.S. companies.

Goldman has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in business from New York University.
