Annuity & Life Re Shares Move Up To The NYSE

NU Online News Service, July 24, 10:15 a.m. – Annuity and Life Re (Holdings) Ltd., Hamilton, Bermuda, a company that sells reinsurance to North American life insurers, says its stock will move to the New York Stock Exchange, from the Nasdaq National Market, Aug. 1.

Annuity & Life Re shares have been trading on Nasdaq under the symbol ALRE since the company first sold stock to the public, in April 1998.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the symbol will be ANR

Lawrence Doyle, president of Annuity & Life Re, will celebrate the switch by ringing the opening bell at the exchange the morning the shares begin trading there.
