NU Online News Service, July 23, 11:15 a.m. – ING Aetna Financial Services, Hartford, has agreed to use The BISYS Group Inc., New York, to provide sales information services and back-office technology support for its 1,400 agents and brokers.
BISYS will also help ING Aetna develop new products, the company says.
The ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, acquired the ING Aetna unit, which was previously known as Aetna Financial Services, from Aetna Inc., Hartford, in 2000.
BISYS also provided technology services for Aetna Financial Services, but the new contract is a broader contract, BISYS says.
