NU Online News Service, July 20, 10:55 a.m. – CNA Life and Long-term Care, a subsidiary of CNA Financial Corp., Chicago, has agreed to stick with The BISYS Group Inc., New York, for producer network management.
CNA Life will be using a Web BISYS site, at http://www.appointpak.com, to handle agent and broker appointments and terminations.
CNA began using the BISYS AppointPAK system, an off-line producer management software pakcage in 1994.
CNA decided to migrate to the Web site because it likes the old AppointPAK system, and the Web-based version should eliminate the need to print forms, handle checks and stuff envelopes, CNA says.
