NU Online News Service, July 17, 2:35 p.m. – AssureNet Ltd., Bethesda, Md., has acquired Gavroshe Technologies Ltd., Columbus, Ohio.
AssureNet provides data services for insurance agents through the Web.
Gavroshe helps banks and insurers store, manage and analyze data. AssureNet decided to acquire Gavroshe to gain from its expertise with large back-office systems, AssureNet says.
Derek Strauss, the president of Gavroshe, has agreed to join AssureNet as its chief executive officer.
