NU Online News Service, June 12, 1:10 p.m. – Sunshine State Insurance Company, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., has introduced advanced Internet technology to its independent agents through a new generation of online products.
SSIC’s Internet-based system generates quotes for agents and issues applications, binders and certificates of insurance. This e-business initiative also generates customer sales leads, which are referred to agents.
In addition to the quote generating functions, SSIC also plans to introduce endorsement processing and upload and download capabilities to agencies’ management systems, giving SSIC agent producers control of the process from start to finish.
The new Internet-based business application process will be accessible through SSIC’s Web site, www.ssic-insco.com.
