PacifiCare Names Linda Vorvick Regional Medical Director For The Northwest Region

NU Online News Service, June 11, 3: 00 p.m. – PacifiCare of Washington, Inc., Mercer Island, Wash., has promoted Linda J. Vorvick, M.D., to the position of medical director for PacifiCare of the Northwest region, a subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems.

In her new position, Dr. Vorvick will be responsible for medical management functions and initiatives for Oregon and Washington and be accountable for PacifiCare’s care management interventions, including placing PacifiCare medical directors and nurses in area hospitals to provide consultation and support to local physicians and hospital nurses. She will also focus on improving care and quality of life for the senior population, having had extensive experience treating seniors in her own medical practice.
