Yes, premiums will go up

Was all the talk coming out of California about premiums going down just state officials blowing a bunch of hot air? Some industry experts — and the industry for that matter — seem to think so. In 2011 apparently, many health insurers were crafting press releases and letters to their customers detailing how the law could potentially drive up premiums. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius fired back with a letter of her own saying any company blaming Obamacare would lose its subsidies.
