Ruth Larkin, a 25-year veteran in the employee benefit market, is launching LifeCycle Benefits, an organization designed to specifically address the employer and employee needs surrounding longevity planning and long-term care insurance (LTCI).
More than 65 million Americans care for a family member with a chronic illness, disability or frailty due to aging, and these issues can affect the workplace. LifeCycle Benefits was established to provide options and resources for employers or advisors to address this silent emotional, financial and productivity challenge. LifeCycle Benefits takes a customized and comprehensive approach to each employer environment.
“I believe the genuine lack of understanding regarding longevity planning, care options, finances, legal empowerment issues and the resulting emotional impact of these matters among today’s Sandwich Generation–those who care for their aging parents and grandparents while supporting their own children– has weakened the best laid plans for this generation and their families,” Larkin says. “I am committed to closing this knowledge gap for my clients and their constituents.”
LifeCycle Benefits also has a strategic partnership with LTCI Partners, one of the nation’s largest LTCI distributors, to ensure there are many options and resources.
