NU Online News Service, Sept. 11, 11:45 a.m. — The National Association of Insurance Commissioners office at the World Trade Center complex in Manhattan was in Building 7, which burned down Tuesday afternoon as a result of a terrorist attack on the complex that occurred Tuesday morning.

“Our people did get out (and) they’re OK,” a spokeswoman for the Kansas City group said.

The NAIC WTC office handled issues dealing with the valuation of securities.
