Working Americans don’t much like the choices they’re being handed this presidential election year. And the proof is in the numbers.
According to a recent survey by Quantum Workplace, fully half of working-age Americans not voting in November say they don’t support either major party candidate. One reason: Fewer than 3 in 10 of them trust either candidate to “positively impact” their career or job.

Among those who will be voting, the Republican Party nominee has a steeper hill to climb in winning employees’ confidence. Fewer than 1 in 4 (24.9 percent), Quantum reports, will vote for Donald Trump, as compared to more than 4 in 10 (40.2 percent) who plan to back Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton.
