Insurers, producers and trade groups are getting ready to start the latest Long Term Care Awareness Month marketing campaign Thursday.
The American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI) started the campaign in 2001, and it now works with the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, insurers and distributors to organize the campaign.
AALTCI has posted marketing letters and other materials that agents can use to explain the need for long-term care (LTC) planning and promote long-term care insurance (LTCI) on its website.
Insurers have helped AALTCI pay to get a 4-page LTC planning insert into the November issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.
