A critical illness insurance graphic published in the Nov. 28 Advising Boomers section gave an incorrect description of government health condition statistics. The figures given reflected the prevalance of conditions such as stroke, or the percentage of people alive today who have suffered from the conditions at some time in their lives, rather than the incidence of such conditions, or the number of new cases of the conditions reported each year.
