Group Health Adds Web-Based Small Group Administration

NU Online News Service, Nov. 10, 2003, 11:48 a.m. EST – Group Health Inc., New York, will be introducing the myGHI eBroker Online Services system this week.

The eBroker system is a Web-based system for administering individual and small group coverage. Brokers can reach the system by logging on through the Group Health corporate Web site, at http://www.ghi.com

Brokers can use the system to manage books of business, receive electronic commission payments and verify amounts, review billing and payment histories, submit coverage reinstatement requests, track the status of new applications, check member benefits and eligibility, obtain Group Health small group proposals and request member ID cards, Group Health says.

Group Health is a nonprofit health insurer that provides or administers medical coverage for 2.5 million New York residents.
