As 2024 has arrived, you want to add a few clients. Ideally, you want them to be the right clients.

You know exactly who you want to get, but there is a problem: They have no idea who you are.

This can take time, because you likely will need to first gain name recognition, then develop a social relationship, identify a business need and transition into a relationship having a business component.

How do you make that first step? There are many ways to get on someone’s radar screen. Even in social relationships, it needs to be obvious how you add value. Many strategies have little or no dollar cost, but they often involve the investment of time. It can be worth it!
