Integrity Marketing Group is acquiring New Horizons Insurance Marketing, an insurance marketing organization (IMO) that distributes Medicare Plans.

Integrity Marketing is a Dallas-based life and health distributor that has built a company with 275,000 agent relationships through acquisitions. The company says it’s on track to produce $3 billion in new premiums this year.

New Horizons is a Decatur, Illinois-based company with relationships with about 10,000 life and health agents.

Jeff Sams and John Hockaday started the company in 1981. Sams has been the chief executive officer, and Hockaday has been the chief operating officer.

Integrity Marketing is not saying how much it’s paying for New Horizons, but it says Sams and Hockaday will continue to run the brokerage business, and the company’s career agency arm, Sams/Hockaday & Associates.

Bryan Adams, Integrity Marketing’s CEO, said in a comment about the deal, included in the acquisition announcement, that Sams and Hockaday are agent-focused.

“Much of their strength comes from their heart for clients, helping them prepare for some of the toughest days of their lives,” Adams said.

The Integrity Marketing deal will help Sams and Hockaday help more families, Adams said.
