Health sharing ministries have taken flack from state insurance regulators in the past year, but they are still in the game.

OneShare Health, a ministry based in Reading, Pennsylvania, was the sole platinum sponsor of the Inter-Company Marketing Group’s 2020 annual conference.

ICMG held the event recently in Orlando, Florida.

ICMG held its 2019 conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Aliera Healthcare, an Atlanta-based health sharing ministry outreach organization, was the top sponsor at the 2019 event.

The ICMG is a nonprofit group based in McPherson, Kansas. It offers networking and educational programming for people in the insurance and financial services industries.

The annual conference agenda included presentations on topics such as developments in artificial intelligence, strategies for recruiting through LinkedIn, and the importance of telehealth.

Ameritas, Guardian Life, United American Insurance Company and Willis Towers Watson were some of the companies in the exhibit all.

The ICMG attendee list web page features a tool that lets users sort the list of attendees by title. Columbian Life Insurance Company, Health Insurance Innovations and Lewis & Ellis Inc. are some of the companies that had presidents at the conference.

The overall attendee count increased to 402, from 385 last year.

The group has scheduled its 2021 annual conference to start Feb. 2 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
