Health Care Shopping System Firm Gets New CEO

The company provides provider cost and quality information for about 96 million health plan enrollees.

The board of Sapphire Digital has named Kyle Raffaniello to be the company’s chief executive officer.

Raffaniello has been the Lyndhurst, New Jersey’s acting CEO since August. 2019.

Sapphire Digital provides the health care provider cost and quality information in 350 health plans’ health care shopping systems. About 96 million U.S. consumers have access to health care shopping systems that use Sapphire Digital data streams.

Raffaniello took over from Heyward Donigan, who is now the CEO of the Rite Aid drug store chain.

Raffaniello has been Sapphire Digital’s chief strategy and marketing officer since 2015.

She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and business from Mount Saint Mary’s College, and a master’s degree in health care administration from George Washington University.

She serves as the chair of the Association of Behavioral Health and Wellness.
