The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) — the agency that runs HealthCare.gov — is organizing a get-together for HealthCare.gov agents and brokers.

CMS plans to hold the 2019 CMS Marketplace Agent and Broker Summit July 1, at CMS headquarters in Baltimore.

CMS calls HealthCare.gov the “CMS Marketplace.”

The full-day CMS Marketplace event will feature a briefing on new health care policies and regulations, information about HealthCare.gov changes coming in 2020, opportunities to meet CMS exchange program officials, and a panel discussion featuring veteran agents and brokers, CMS says.

To participate, a producer must have completed the HealthCare.gov registration and training process for 2019 and have a valid National Producer Number.

Producers who attend in person must pay their own travel expenses.

Producers can also watch the event online, through a private YouTube video stream.
