California Assemblyman Allan Mansoor wants the public health insurance exchange plans in his state to report on how many enrollees they lose as well as how many they gain.

Mansoor, R-Costa Mesa, Calif., has introduced A.B. 2301, a bill that would require managers of the state-based Covered California exchange to provide regular reports on enrollees who leave their “qualified health plans” as well as data on consumers who have signed up for QHPs.

Members of the Assembly Health Commitee voted 18-1 for the bill in April. The bill is now in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
