More than three in 10 in U.S. put off treatment due to cost

Twelve years ago, just 19 percent of Americans said they were putting off medical treatment because of the cost. Today, 32 percent of Americans are delaying care. What's worse, delayers say they're more prone to put off treatment when the condition seems serious. And perhaps more concerning, the trend is found among Americans whether they're insured or not.
