Mini-med plans: worth the price tag?

A reporter has done a quick product concept review aimed at consumers and found that the limited-benefit medical insurance plans often called “mini med plans” offer (surprise!) limited benefits. A spokesman for the American Cancer Society explains that the policies won’t help much with cancer. A Minnesota insurance commissioner says the sellers often confuse the buyers.
