Aging Specialists Seek Speaking Engagements

A Lone Star state long-term care insurance (LTCI) and Medicare supplement insurance specialist is joining with other senior products experts in her area to try to ramp up marketing.

Mary Elizabeth Cofer, the LTCI agent, has teamed with Tom Dyke, Susan Armstrong, Carol-Lee Fisher and Tom Dyke to form a group that offers presentations aimed at retirees and near retirees.

Cofer, who provided physical therapy for older patients before getting into insurance, talks about insurance and financial considerations.

Dyke, a lawyer, real estate investor and author of Mama Moves In, covers caregiving and legal issues.

Armstrong, an estate planning lawyer, focuses on estate planning.

Fisher, a cremation services specialist who helped start the mini speakers bureau, talks about end-of-life planning. Fisher, the owner of A Fork in the Road, San Antonio, has been marketing the bureau’s presentation services to churches, other houses of worship and civic groups.
