Life Care Funding Group L.L.C. and Virtual Health — a company that bills itself as a subscription-based, “aging-in-place service provider” — have agreed to help each other with marketing.

Life Care Funding, Lewiston, Maine, offers life settlement services for customers who want to use life settlement proceeds to pay for long-term care services.

Virtual Health, New York, provides home health monitoring services, personal health coaching and meal delivery services using resources such as call centers, blood pressure monitors and glucose monitors.

Life Care Funding will now help market Virtual Health’s products and services, and Virtual Health will help market Life Care Funding life settlement services.

Alex Go, chief executive officer officer of Virtual Health, said in a statement about his company’s alliance with Life Funding Group that paying for long-term care can be difficult.

“By working with Life Care Funding Group, we are opening up a door for seniors across the country to set up a long-term care benefit plan with their life insurance policies instead of throwing them away,” Go said.
