A life insurer and a health insurer are unveiling upbeat national brand campaigns.
AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands, is now uniting all of its North American operations under the name of Transamerica, and it has commissioned an advertising campaign with the slogan “WE ARE THE TOMORROW MAKERS” to reintroduce the Transamerica brand.
Transamerica will be using television ads and ads in consumer and trade publications to deliver the message that the company helps customers use insurance, investments and retirement planning to help customers create better tomorrows.
Transamerica also is using a new tagline, TRANSFORM TOMORROW, and it will be putting its most famous building – the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco – in a television ad that suggests that the building is a factory in which Transamerica employees make tomorrows for their customers.
The Bloomfield, Conn., health insurance arm of CIGNA Corp. (NYSE:CI) is starting a television, print and Web campaign with the theme “GO YOU.”
CIGNA is working to convey the message that it provides easy-to-use programs and distinctive customer service.
CIGNA also is updating its logo to reflect its interest in tailoring health coverage to suit the needs of individual customers.
CIGNA has started a Global Giving Fund to demonstrate the company’s commitment to improving the health of individuals around the world, the company says.
