Digital Insurance Inc. has acquired the benefits division of TriSure Corp.
Digital, Atlanta, is adding TriSure Benefit Advisors, Raleigh, N.C., to its own Digital Benefit Advisors division.
The TriSure benefits unit has been one of the Raleigh area’s largest independently owned benefits consulting firms, Digital says.
Digital is not saying how much it is paying for the benefits unit.
TriSure Corp. will be keeping its non-benefits operations.
In other insurance deal news, Arthur J. Gallagher & Company, Itasca, Ill. (NYSE:AJG), has acquired the BeneTex Inc. Group Inc., Georgetown, Texas, a benefits broker that was founded in 1992.
Gallagher is not saying how much it is paying for BeneTex, but it says Danny Bone, Jason Kloc, Jeff Kloc and their associates will continue to work out of their current offices.
