Lockton Companies L.L.C., an insurance brokerage firm, has opened an office in Philadelphia that will offer insurance, employee benefits and risk management services to managed care executives.
The office also will sell benefits and risk management services to other health care organizations, according to Lockton, Kansas City, Mo.
Kevin Junod, the head of the new office, previously was the head of health care industry practice at the Philadelphia office of a unit of Aon Corp., Chicago (NYSE:AON).
In other business growth news, Benefit Informatics Inc., Tulsa, Okla., has signed Automated Group Administration Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., as a client.
Automated Group, self-funded benefit plan administrator, is using Benefit Informatics’ Web-based data analysis and reporting systems to analyze health care utilization and find opportunities for controlling costs.
