PPACA Suit Lawyer Goes to Private Firm

Former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum — a manager of Florida efforts to challenge the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA) — is now at SNR Denton.

McCollum, who recently completed a 4-year term as the Sunshine State’s attorney general, will become a partner in SNR Denton’s Washington office and help lead a state attorneys general practice at the firm.

In addition to serving as Florida’s attorney general, McCollum represented Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1981 to 2001.

Denton Wilde Sapte L.L.P., London, merged with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal L.L.P., Chicago, to form SNR Denton in September 2010.

The firm provides services in the United States through SNR Denton US L.L.P., a limited liability partnership registered in Delaware.
