Clements International Inc., a broker that serves expatriates and international organizations, has officially changed its name to Clements Worldwide.
Clements, Washington, made the change to unify the Washington office with its London office. Clements opened the London office in 2010.
The name change positions Clements for future regional expansion, the company says.
Clements was founded in 1947 and now sells international health insurance and international life insurance as well as international property-casualty insurance. It can provide coverage for risks in about 170 countries. Clients have included government contractors that need benefits programs for workers in Iraq.
