Brokers International, Ltd. Founder and CEO Roger McCarty opened The Women’s Mentoring Agent Network(TM) (WOMAN(TM)) Second National Convention with a brief overview and history of the WOMAN program and congratulated the members who qualified for the elite trip.

Brokers International, Ltd. hosted independent, female insurance professionals at the incentive trip at Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego in early November.

WOMAN members received an all-expense-paid trip for their 2010 production. They participated in a one-day meeting focusing on regulatory issues, case design, and open-discussion about issues facing female insurance professionals.

NAFA (National Association for Fixed Annuities) Executive Director Kim O’Brien provided a behind-the scenes account of 151A, its affect on producers, and an update on the regulatory world today. Hand-chosen WOMAN members, with diverse backgrounds in the industry, shared case designs from their own practices and then had the group discuss alternate solutions.

WOMAN is one of the industry’s premier mentoring network of women insurance professionals. Its goal is to empower independent, female, insurance professionals with tips, tools, and information they can use to help them deliver valuable solutions to their clients. To join, learn more, or recommend a female insurance professional, contact Executive Director Marcia Hackfort at 866-250-9160 or [email protected].
