The iPhone iOS operating system is the most popular smart phone operating system for insurance applications, according to analysts at Celent.

Celent, New York, a consulting firm, has published the analysts’ findings in a review of the mobile applications aimed at insurance consumers.

The Celent analysts found 14 insurance applications for users if the iPhone iOS operating system, and just 4 insurance apps for users of the Android system.
