Lifetime show to feature long term care segment as part of Long Term Care Awareness month

In conjunction with national Long Term Care Awareness month Nov. 1-30, “The Balancing Act” will be re-airing their segment on Long Term Care Planning, on Lifetime Television. “This segment, featuring one family’s struggle with Long Term Care was very well received by our audience. It highlighted the importance of planning for Long Term Care, which we felt was a particularly important message during Long Term Care awareness month” said Doug Campbell, Founder and Executive VP of Programming for The Balancing Act.

Mark Goldberg, President of ACSIA Long Term Care, Inc. also participates in the segment and provides viewers advice about their options for financing Long Term Care expenses. ACSIA(R) is a national insurance agency representing the nation’s top insurance carriers and is regarded as a leader in the Long Term Care insurance industry.

National Long Term Care Awareness month is an annual event organized by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI) and supported by association members and leading industry organizations. The goal is to create heightened awareness of the need for Long Term Care and the importance of planning options available to Americans and their families.

“The Balancing Act” is a national television series that airs on Lifetime, focusing on issues and solutions for today’s women. The Long Term Care episode will air Nov. 4 at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT).
