Stop-Loss Carrier Covers Nation

Westport Insurance Corp. is now protecting midsize, self-funded employer-sponsored health plans against catastrophic claims in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Westport Insurance, Overland Park, Kan., part of the U.S. employer stop-loss insurance arm of Swiss Reinsurance Company, Zurich, offers self-funding coverage for fully insured employer groups with 100 to 1,000 employees, Swiss Re says.
