Blue Cross of California is going to make more use of a Web-based physician rating survey program in California.
California Blue, Woodland Hills, Calif., a unit of WellPoint Inc., Indianapolis, says it will offer the Zagat Health Survey program, from Zagat Survey L.L.C., New York, in Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco as well as in the Los Angeles area.
California Blue began offering the program in the Los Angeles area in January 2008.
The system gives health plan members the ability to rate doctors based on factors such as trust, availability and communication.
