The population on Facebook is booming, and it’s not just with college kids. Boomers are jumping on Facebook more often than their children, according to a data from O’Reilly Media.

The percentage of people in signing up for Facebook between ages 35 and 44 has grown by 76 percent; those between 45 and 54 grew only slightly less, increasing 70 percent. And that’s just in the past 12 weeks.
