Coinciding with Long Term Care Insurance Awareness Month, 11 carriers are cosponsoring a print ad urging consumers to buy LTC insurance.

Under the banner of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, Westlake Village, Calif., the print ad will communicate the message, “Long term care insurance protection pays.”

The ad will run in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine in November, which governors in Michigan and Texas have designated as LTC Insurance Awareness Month.

Sponsoring the ad are MetLife; Unum Group; Genworth; John Hancock; Prudential Financial; Transamerica; MedAmerica; AXA Equitable; Mutual of Omaha; Massachusetts Mutual; and LifeSecure, an affiliate of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
