TelaDoc Inc. will be plugging its telephone-based physician access service into the HealthVault system.
TelaDoc, Dallas, will be giving the participating physicians the ability to feed information about sessions into patients' HealthVault medical records, if the patients give the physicians permission to do so.
HealthVault is a new, free, Web-based health information and personal health record system developed by Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash.
The system competes with a number of Web-based PHR system, including the Google Health system recently unveiled by Google Inc., Mountain View, Calif.
In other benefits technology alliance news, Sentinel Financial Group Inc., Reading, Mass., a benefits firm with 3,000 clients, has agreed to use benefit account debit card services from Evolution Benefits Inc., Avon, Conn.
