Wells Fargo Unit Scoops Up Martin Insurance

ABD Insurance and Financial Services has acquired Martin Insurance Services Inc.

ABD, Redwood City, Calif., is a unit of Wells Fargo & Company, San Francisco.

Martin Insurance, Santa Rosa, Calif., which does business as Martin Financial/Insurance Services, was founded in 1981. It sells individual and group life and health products.

The North Bay operations of Wells Fargo of California Insurance Services will hire Bud Martin and 6 other Martin Financial alumni, Wells Fargo says.
