Units of larger companies are joining forces to roll out a bundle of life and health products aimed at individuals and families.

Madison National Life Insurance Company, part of Independence Holding Company, Stamford, Conn., is working with Life Investors Insurance Company of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to write the coverage in the new 360 Plan.

A consumer can use one 360 Plan application to apply for health insurance, term life insurance, disability insurance and critical illness insurance, IHC says.

Life Investors, a unit of AEGON N.V., The Hague, Netherlands, helped design the life portion of the policies and will participate on the non-medical portion of the risk, IHC says.

Madison National and Life Investors will be selling the package through MedLife L.L.C., Harrisburg, Pa., a national association of 40 marketing general agents who distribute life and health products through a network of about 15,000 insurance agents.
