Plan Administrator To Offer High-Deductible Dental Plan

Ben-e-lect is working with GroupLink Inc. to sell a new insured dental plan in Colorado.

The plan developers have held down plan costs by using a high deductible and a design that permits employers to share a portion of the deductible with employees, according to Ben-e-lect, Colorado Springs, Colo., a benefit plan administrator.

GroupLink, a unit of Independence Holding Company, Stamford, Conn., is helping to run the plan, and another IHC unit, Madison Life Insurance Company, is providing the insurance, Ben-e-lect says.
