In reference to the quotation by [CEG Worldwide Founder] John Bowen [in the February cover story] that the fee-based model is “…the right thing by the client and makes twice as much money,” how can that be?

Fee-based business will never be as good for the client as a buy-and-hold, transaction model with an ethical advisor. You can’t charge a client more and say it is the best thing for them.
