Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. says its Stag will encourage boomers to “Prepare to Live” in retirement in a new series of 15-second television commercials, print ads and Web ads.
Hartford Financial, Hartford, will start the TV campaign this month, to tie in with the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament.
The ads also will appear in conjunction with telecasts of football games and golf tournaments, as well as in archived “on demand” versions of 2006 NCAA March Madness broadcasts, Hartford Financial says.
The TV commercials will show the Stag finding his way through tough terrain to return to his usual position, on top of a mountain.
The print ads in the campaign will run in publications such as National Geographic, The New Yorker, Time, Newsweek, Smithsonian, Money and Fortune.
Campbell Mithun L.L.C., Minneapolis, is the advertising agency that created the TV spots.
