A managed care company has updated its member Web site.
CIGNA HealthCare, Bloomfield, Conn., a unit of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, says it has redesigned its member Web site, at Document Link
The original version was introduced in 2002. About half of CIGNA health plan members have registered to use the member sites, and the member sites attract about 60,000 visitors per day, CIGNA says.
Additions to the new version include tools for comparing the quality and cost efficiency of in-network specialists.
The system also reports on dollars paid out of a member’s flexible spending account, health savings account or health reimbursement account.
