FSP Elects Executive Committee

Richard Lindsay is taking over as president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Lindsay is a principal at Planned Estate Services, Westlake Village, Calif., and a senior financial advisor with an affiliate of MetLife Inc., according to the FSP, Newtown Square, Pa.

Lindsay retired as a major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He has a master’s degree from the National Defense University. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Registered Financial Consultant and Accredited Estate Planner professional designations.

The other 2006-2007 FSP officers are James Tyrpak, the president elect, who is president of Desmon, Kohnstamm & Tyrpak Inc., Williamsville, N.Y.; and Roderick Hansen, the secretary, who is a regional vice president in the Boca Raton, Fla., office of Pacific Life Insurance Company.

The immediate past president is Ward Anderson, who is president of Compensation Planning & Administration Systems Inc., Denver, and a representative of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Springfield, Mass.
