The professional publishing division at The National Underwriter Company is teaming with WFG Capital Advisors L.P. to conduct a series of half-day seminars on the insurance agency mergers and acquisitions market.
The first seminar is set to start Sept. 19 in Boston.
The companies also will hold seminars Sept. 27 in Chicago and Oct. 17 in Dallas.
The seminars will be geared toward agency owners and executives, banking executives and other industry professionals, organizers say.
Topics of discussion will include agency valuation and deal structures; the effect of banks on the market; and the prices that different buyer groups are paying.
WFG, Harrisburg, Pa., is an investment banking firm.
The National Underwriter Company, Erlanger, Ky., is the publisher of the NU Online News Service.
